Shari and Rabbi Shmuel Hain

Shari and Rabbi Shmuel Hain have guided our community with warmth, scholarship, and vision since September 2006. Their tireless dedication has helped transform YIOZ into a vibrant community synagogue. Under their leadership, the shul recently completed a major expansion project, including the Ohel Yosef Sanctuary. They are the proud parents of Eitan, Akiva and Reva, Judah, Nate, and Rayli.

Alongside community building at YIOZ, Rabbi Hain serves as Rosh Beit Midrash at SAR High School where he has the privilege of teaching many of our children and Shari is Senior Physician Assistant in the Department of Otolaryngology at Mount Sinai West Hospital.
